8th Grade Field Trip Info

Parents,
Eighth grade students will be going on a fieldtrip on Monday, December 18th, 2017. We will be going to Showplace Cinemas here in Henderson to see the movie “Wonder”. As some of you may recall, Wonder was your child’s 7th grade summer reading book. This movie will be a nice culminating activity to complement the book. In order to be able to participate, your child will need to meet the following criteria:
1. No missing work. The cut-off to turn in missing work, and be able to go is Friday, December 15th. AR is included in the missing work. Your child must reach his/her reading goal by this date.
2. No major disciplines from Monday, November 27th- Friday, December 15st.
3. Turn in permission slip and money by December 13th.
The cost for the movie is $5.50. Your child may also want to pre-order popcorn and soda. If so, please send $3.00 for your child to be able to do so. The theater is requiring that teachers collect the $3.00 BEFORE we go to the movies. This will be the only snack students may order.
Permission slips will be sent home with students for parent signatures.
